Kakashi Hatake is a fictional character in the manga and anime Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto. Kishimoto commented that he had planned to introduce Kakashi to the manga in the early chapters, along with the main character, Naruto Uzumaki, but retracted due to knowing that “Team 7” would develop better without him present at the time.

In both the anime and manga, Kakashi is a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village, and is the leader and sensei of “Team 7”, composed of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. However, Sasuke leaves the team and Sai is subsequently introduced as his replacement. At first, Kakashi is presented as an apathetic character, but as the series develops, loyalty to his friends and students becomes more and more apparent. In 2005, Kishimoto created a gaiden titled Kakashi Gaiden, which reveals some of the facts about Kakashi’s identity, as well as the events he experienced during his youth.[7] In the Japanese adaptation of the anime, his voice actor is Kazuhiko Inoue, while in the Spanish-American dub he is Alfonso Obreg?n and in the Spanish he is Juan Arroyo.

As one of the main characters, Kakashi has appeared in various Naruto-related media, including several of the films as well as in the original animations and several video games. In addition, numerous publications of the anime and manga have served to praise and criticize the character. In a poll conducted by T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews, it was commented that the series could only be called “Kakashi”. Multiple accessories in Kakashi’s likeness have been released, including plush dolls and keychains. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara Uchiha tore out Kakashi’s left Sharingan eye and Madara subsequently implants it in his left eye and heals it with Hashirama cells of his impending blindness. In order to recover his left Rinnegan , Madara uses the Kamui of the Sharingan and goes to the Kamui dimension where Obito was accompanied by Sakura.
